Villages many miles away were sending patients by trucks, horseback, and tractors to our medical clinic. |

The combination of a medical team working together with a local church is very effective. Before people see the doctor they are standing around waiting, so we have time to talk to them and explain why we came and to share our testimonies. Kent and Jean shared their love for God with the Tyvenian people through their songs and personal testimonies. |

We gave out all the literature we had.... and still the people would come and ask (beg) for more! |

In many villages there was no running water, no indoor toilets, no electricity. Our clinic often ran with an old generator hooked up to the building that would barely work. For many days our dental team worked only with a flashlight. Dr. Bob, a dentist is extracting a damaged tooth. |

The Agape Health Kits allow us to help invalids, elderly, social outcast, and sick by going from house to house. These people were unable to come to the clinic, so our team went to them. Health Kits are specifically designed to meet the medical needs of people in the rural areas. Each kit contains medicine for stomach ailments, infections, heart, kidneys; it even has nitroglycerine tablets, plus directions for the usage of each medicine written in Russian. Also each kit contains a New Testament, Christian literature, and a Gospel bracelet with explanation. Sherry, an RN is using one of these health kits to share Jesus with a poor Tyvenian lady at her house. |

The medical care that AGAPE provided spoke volumes about God's love to the patients as well as to the local doctors who worked with us. Dr. Jim, ENT doctor is examining an ear. |

Tyva is such a beautiful country. We traveled over five hours each way, to a village of "old believers" and NEVER met another car either way! |
