After we left this yurt, we went to the next one, and did another clinic, and shared the Gospel again. |

We had several more hours to travel, across the mountains. So we got into our jeep again and headed toward our final destination. |

We are having our lunch on the forest floor of a beautiful mountainside. The water in these mountain passes is so clean and pure you can drink it without fear. |

There is no bridge or road to get to the village of our destination, so we had to forge the river, climb the riverbank, and finally travel through a forest to get to the village. |

This village did not have any electricity or telephone and the only way to communicate with the outside world is by short wave radio that works only once a day. The people had already been waiting two days for us. All the shepherds left their livestock and came down from the mountains to see the doctor. |

The local people found an old electrical generator for our team. The generator provided us with a lot of noise and some light. When the light went out, we used our flashlight or camera light. |

We worked straight through the night without supper, from 5:30 pm until we finally quit at 12:30 am. We gave out almost all the medicine we brought! The shepherds "gratefully" received the AGAPE health kits we had brought. The closest drug store for them is a 2 days drive by jeep, and a week by horseback. |

Late that night we drove out of the village, and literally slid down the riverbank to the river in our jeep. Then some wire somehow wrapped itself around our drive shaft, and we had to stop to remove it. After that we tried to find our way across the river. It was dark, and we were lost, but, just then a man on horseback showed up in our headlights. He was one of the shepherds who had ridden six hours by horseback to get to our clinic! He guided us across the river and back onto the main trail towards our base camp. We drove all night, thru the mountains and arrived back at our base camp just after sunrise. We were exhausted. |

Riding this jeep on a dirt road was like being inside a washing machine. You were tossed, slammed, jerked, squeezed, and jolted. Unfortunately, we never got clean. More Photos...

For many sick people in this remote region, our medical clinics are the only chance for them to be examined by a doctor and receive advice and medicine. More Photos...

A LOT of people, who knew nothing or very little about God were very interested in knowing and learning more about Him. More Photos...
