In the frigid cold north of Russia, the situation is desperate. Many towns and villages have NO medicines, and small amounts of food. Agape does about 4-6 "medical expeditions" into the north of Russia each year taking medicines and supplies to the people who live there. They have very little or nothing and simple aspirin makes the difference between a day of pain, or a day without it. Agape needs doctors and nurses to "GO" as medical teams into these areas. Each team consist of from 1-4 doctors plus nurses, labs, translators, medicines, and supplies.

Mobile Medical Clinics are "NOW" being held in:

  • orphanages
  • medical polyclinics
  • hospitals, prisons
  • churches, culture centers
  • schools soup kitchens
  • "bars"
  • medical Colleges
  • truck stops, private homes and on Tundra

What we are doing:

Mobile Medical Clinics are held in the rural, isolated parts of Russia. The places where no one else wants or cares to go. Romans 15:20 is the scriptural basis. The program works with the local Russian evangelical church to "GO" to "unreached" people and consist of 3 parts.

Preparation: First the local church goes to these isolated villages to advertise the medical clinic, and obtain the necessary authorization and documents for the program.

Clinic: People then come to the meeting place at the advertised time, and there they hear the Gospel. Next, the doctor goes into a room and does medical consultations and provides medicines for as long as there are patients or until he is not able to continue. The patients in the waiting room, watch the Jesus film, receive Bibles and literature, listens to preaching, singing, and small Bible discussion groups. The children are taken to a different room where they are presented Bible stories through flannel graphs, videos, puppets, crafts, and/or the Gospel bracelet. This goes on for the length of the clinic, usually 6-8 hours. This program works EXTREMELY WELL!! The local Russian church shares the Love of God and helps people with their problems. Then the "team" travels to different village and repeats the procedure until there are no more medicines or the doctor and team are exhausted.

Follow UP: The 3rd and final part of the rural program is carried out by the local Russian church. This ministry does not work with any church who does NOT agree to do follow up. They must return and do "follow up" with Bible studies, answer questions, and continue to "SHOW" God's love to them..... RESULT = NEW CHURCHES ARE STARTED... and people find GOD!! Plus they have received medical help and humanitarian aid
