Nenets are not only "unreached" people but they are also forgotten people. Nobody comes here because it is too hard and too difficult. But Agape comes out of love and obedience to the Lord. Because this is where He said we have to go.

Agape wants to take 5,000 Rural Home Health Care Kits to the unreached people of Northern Russia. Over 50% of the children there have rickets. Tuberculosis is rampant there as well as many common diseases. These kits have been one of the most effective tools that we have used for sharing God's love. Agape and the local missionaries hand-deliver these kits to the people who need them. The missionaries then do the follow-up. By addressing the need for good first aid and preventative health care we have a great opportunity to share God's love! Each kit is designed for 4 people (2 adults and 2 children) and include Bible, Gospel Bracelet with explanation and literature inside. Instructions, descriptions of side effects and precautions are all translated into Russian and attached to the medicines. Agape took Health Kits to pass out into a rugged Mountainous region of Russia between Kazakhstan and Mongolia. They were needed since the people had nothing in the way of medical supplies. We want to return with more medical kits. One kit for one family cost $20 for a family of 4. |
