Going

Agape seeks to go where no one else will go. That takes us into the isolated remote areas of Russia's Far North: the Tundra, fishing villages near the Arctic Ocean of the Kola Peninsula, Siberian Mountain Villages and the most Southern of Russia - Tyva.

Going to the Tundra

Agape is traveling to isolated tepee villages on the tundra. These villages can only be reached by reindeer sleigh and snowmobile.

Agape goes to the Tundra because we were invited by the government to come and help. The journey to the Tundra takes 3 days. First we take a jet and then use a 6x6 Russian monster truck to travel 24 hours across the tundra. On the tundra there are no roads and sometimes our progress can be measured in inches. We travel further by snowmobile to the tepees that are on the tundra. Agape comes there providing life saving home health kits, medical consultations and medicines for Nenets who live on the Tundra. Agape goes to these unreached people in the Tundra bringing them literature and Bibles. After we leave the local missionaries stay there and do follow up.

Going to the Taiga

Many times the snow is so deep that only a horse sleigh can GO to these villages.

Medical Center Agape travels deep into the Northern Forest (or Taiga) that covers 11 times zones across Northern Russia. Here in the Taiga, people are living isolated from the rest of the world. Sometimes they still speak their own ethnic language. It is to these kinds of places that Agape has been called to "GO" and help with both physical and spiritual needs.

Going to the Mountain villages of Central Siberia

We traveled to the most isolated village in the region. To get there, we flew all night from Moscow, then traveled 10 hours by bus, then 4 hours in a 6x6 truck, then we put our medicines and equipment into a canoe type of boat and traveled up a Siberian r

Agape travels deep into the heart of Siberia to some of the poorest people with the greatest needs in all of Russia. These people live in the rugged mountains of Siberia, separated from the rest of the world and know very little about the Love of God. Often the way to reach these villages is with a helicopter, a boat or a bulldozer. Agape shares the Love of God with these indigenous unreached people groups by providing compassionate medical care, health kits, and eyeglasses.

Going to Tyva

Agape team traveled to a remote village in a Russian jeep across seven mountain passes for over five hours to get there.

Agape sends medical teams to a place that is really at the end of the road! It is deep in the mountains of this area. There are lots of shepherds who tend sheep and goats in these vast valleys. The closest medical help for them is a three-day trip away.

Going to Rural villages

Agape traveled to isolated villages to help orphans, disadvantaged school children, elderly and disabled people. Agape distributed school kits to children, and gives Agape Health Kits to the elderly and disabled. It is a great opportunity to share Jesus t

The people in rural Russia are cut off from the rest of the world.  One-third of the villages in Russia do not have access roads.  People in these isolated villages often do not have proper nutrition.  They have little or no medical care.  Agape travels by 6x6 trucks, boats, tractors, and helicopters, sharing the love of God with them by providing medical help, health kits, and eyeglasses. Russia has about 150 million people... and nearly 100 million people live in the rural areas.

Agape has more opportunities to SERVE than we can meet in our lifetime. Agape is the only Medical Organization doing Christian Mobile Medical expeditions to the Ends of the Earth, because it is too hard to get there and too expensive. Only "together" we can do what God has asked us to do... take the Gospel to the Ends of the Earth! We invite you to "BE INVOLVED". Better yet, we invite you to COME to the harvest!

God Bless you in all you do to SERVE HIM!
