The impression of the expedition work is extremely positive!!! New people come to the church…This service was a great blessing for the village and for us all. For people it was medical help and the Gospel, but for us [members of the church], it was a chance to unite and walk in oneness! WE are thankful to everybody who participated in the organization of this expedition, and we hope to have further partnership! ~ Russian Pastor 4/2011
We are thankful to God for work that you did here, for your contribution into the ministry of our church. God used your ministry to strengthen my personal faith and motivation. Watching you, your devotion to the work of salvation to many, I understand that we are all part of God’s plan. He is great and wonderful! … Nikolay also told us that after your coming the tension between villagers and believers has gone down. A lot of people came in the next few days after you left. People were not afraid to stop believers on the street and ask them whether doctors were coming again. Good deeds and the living waters of the Gospel put out the fire of hatred and hostility, open doors to communication, and make people think of the meaning of life. ~ Pastor Alexander 9/2010
For me as pastor in a remote place, this kind of project was very helpful. You know you need to go to remote places, but it is difficult and there is never enough time. If you just evangelize, people are very suspicious. When a doctor comes, it is a very efficient way to evangelize. Our church is not that big, about 60 members with meetings up to 100. I work with villages that are closer to our church and that have larger populations. Smaller, remote places are left out. Every time Agape comes, I see different results. Agape having different remote targets mobilizes me as pastor to go with them. We always have people from church who are willing to help as well. ~ Pastor Andrei 4/2011
Thank you so much for organizing the visit to the gypsies on Monday. It is really clear how God uses your ministry for reaching those who are lost. ~ Andy 10/2010
God’s grace was so great that even unbelievers shared their feelings and said that they felt the presence of God. Many believers didn’t receive medical consultations because they yielded the right-of-way to the unbelievers. Many continue to share their impressions and revelations they got during the Agape program in the church. Even after the Agape team went home, the church went on with discussions, praying about people who entered the church for the first time, that God will continue such programs which show His LOVE. ~ Sergey 9/2010
I believe people in the villages you went to have changed their attitude towards Christians and subsequently towards God who has given you this ministry. ~ Pastor Benjamin 9/2010
The program was successful. I see it as a great opportunity to reach to non-believers, it gave us a reason to start talking to them. One of the most important aspects of this program is that it helps the church to form a positive image in the eyes of those in the midst of whom we evangelize. None of those who came for the program and received help can say anything bad about the church and believers. This is great! ~ Pastor Sergey 9/2010
Why did we come all this way to get there? Not many people could understand. Two doctors who crossed the ocean, another one who came from Europe, a doctor from Moscow and three translators. They came all this way with suitcases full of medicines and reading glasses for a reason which is unfathomable for an average person – to give free help to those who need it and to share the Love which someone else shared with them at some point of their life. To every person who came and poured out his troubles and worries we gave the most precious of what we have – a New Testament. They looked at us unable to comprehend and say: “This is for free?” For some of them it’s a dream come true because all their lives they have been taught that “there is no point in reading the Bible because you will understand nothing anyway”. They leave with a smile on their faces, wishing us Happy Easter and asking us to come again in the summer to go berry picking. ~ Sayora, Russian Participant 4/2010
